New name and focus for US CPDA

The US Chemical Producers and Distributors Association has changed its name to the Council of Producers and Distributors of Agrotechnology to reflect the refocusing of its activities. It remains committed to supporting the generic pesticide industry, but is seeking to “better serve the advocacy interests of the fast-growing adjuvant and inert ingredient manufacturer/supplier sector of the industry”, the association points out. Its members provide some 80% of the inert ingredients used in US crop protection products.
