Further lobbying on US NPDES permit

Nearly 60 US Congressmen have urged the House Agriculture Committee to include language in the 2012 Farm Bill that would block the need for pesticide application permits under the Clean Water Act. A letter to the Committee requests the inclusion of the Reducing Regulatory Burdens Bill (HR 872) or “similar legislative language” in the Farm Bill, which is being considered by the Committee.
