Bayer’s Teldor Plus debuts in Italy
Bayer CropScience’s has introduced its non-systemic fungicide, Teldor Plus (fenhexamid) in Italy. The suspension concentrate liquid formulation was approved last month and replaces the previous solid formulation of fenhexamid, Teldor. The new formulation improves efficacy and use, Bayer says. It is for pre-harvest use on grapevines, fruit, lettuces and vegetables to control grey mould ( Botrytis cinerea) and Monilia spp. The fungicide provides long residual action, Bayer notes. The active ingredient was approved in the EU ten years ago ( Agrow No 376, p 10), and is sold as a water-dispersible granule formulation, Teldor, in several EU countries.
