CropLife trains Nicaraguan agchem sellers

Nicaraguan agrochemical distributors and the industry association, CropLife Latin America, are training pesticide sellers on the duties and regulations that affect them. The workshops are directed at owners of establishments where pesticides are sold. Among the aims of the exercise is to teach unlicensed sellers how to complete the formalities of obtaining a licence, CropLife says. The association also seeks to convince the attendees to purchase pesticides from authorised distributors who have technical knowledge of the products. The courses explain existing restrictions on the import, formulation, distribution, marketing and use of pesticide products. The Nicaraguan pesticide formulators and distributors association, the ANIFODA, aided in the workshops.
