Certis/Prophyta US bionematicide deal

Mitsui & Co’s US subsidiary, Certis USA (Columbia, Maryland), has gained US marketing and distribution rights to the bionematicide, MeloCon ( Paecilomyces lilacinus strain PL 251), from German biopesticide firm Prophyta (Poel). The fungus-based product controls several species of nematodes in vegetable, fruit and tuber crops where nematicides are being restricted or phased out, Certis USA points out.
