Paraguay sets up agchem prescriptions
Paraguay has established rules for agrochemical use “prescriptions”, facilitating the traceability of certain pesticides, the national daily, ABC Color, reports. They will require the issuing of prescriptions for the use of class Ia and Ib restricted-use pesticides. Such pesticides will bear a red stripe on the packaging. The use of those pesticides will be “closely monitored”, the Paraguayan plant health and seed quality service, the Senave, says. The rule comes into force on November 1st.
