US approval for Chemtura seed treatment

Chemtura has received US approval for the insecticide/fungicide seed treatment, Enhance AW (imidacloprid 20% + carboxin 20% + captan 20%), for use on small-grain cereals, soybeans and dry beans. It controls a range of seed- and soil-borne seedling diseases as well as providing early-season protection against pests such as aphids and wireworms, Chemtura notes. It is claimed to be the only such dry seed treatment for wheat. Enhance AW is included in Chemtura’s Trace Seed Protection range.
