New antiparasitic vaccine in Argentina

The Argentinean National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA) has developed a new vaccine for the prevention of babesiosis and anaplasmosis in cattle, a single-dose product that can be frozen before being used. The two diseases are known in the region as “bovine parasitic sadness,” as they cause symptoms such as anemia, lack of appetite and fever when they attack livestock simultaneously.
