Milbemax for cats in Japan

Novartis Animal Health KK, the Japanese arm of the global business, has obtained market authorization in Japan for Feline Milbemax Flavor Tablets (milbemycin oxim and praziquantel) for the control of Toxocara cati (cat large round worm), Ancylostoma tubaeforme (cat hookworm) and Dipylidium caninum (dog tapeworm) in cats. The approval is from the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (JMAFF), which has also approved Milbemax for kitten and small cat flavor tablets containing a low level of the active ingredients.
