Alpharma helps lift Pfizer Q1 by 16%
Pfizer Animal Health has reported a 16% increase in Q1 revenues. The company made $982 million in the three months to March 31st 2011, compared to the $846 from Q1 2010. It says that 15% of the increase was due to operational improvements, with $50m (6%) attributable to the integration of the Alpharma business, acquired together with King Pharmaceuticals in 2010. Currency exchange factors added 1%.
