New Zealand start up seeks funding for parasite monitoring technology

Formed in 2011, Menixis is developing small particle microscopy-based technology in the animal health sector. The Dunedin, New Zealand-based firm has three founding shareholders: The University of Otago; biochemist and nanotechnology specialist Dr Stephen Sowerby and the Techion Group, an established animal diagnostics company. Dr Sowerby, who is the firm's director, spoke to Animal Pharm about the opportunity that Menixis provides to potential investors
