H1N1 on Norway pig farm

The World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) has reported a case of pandemic H1N1 influenza on a pig farm in Norway. Only one animal was found to be infected in the 850-strong herd in the Nord-Trøndelag region. The OIE reports that the animal was probably infected by the farmer, who had been suffering from influenza-like symptoms and was later diagnosed with H1N1.
