Vetcare gains ISO certificate
Vetcare, part of the Tetragon Chemie group, has been awarded a Food Safety Systems Certificate, ISO 22000 2005, from the independent auditing body Det Norske Veritas (DNV), the Netherlands. DNV evaluated Vetcare's design, development and manufacture of feed additives, chelates, premixtures, and supplements for animal agriculture. The company's quality system has also been awarded the Feed Additives and Premixtures Quality System (FAMI-QS) certificate. This is in line with the FAMI-QS code of practice for Feed Additives and Premixture operators (May 2006 Version 3), as approved by the EU. The scope of this certificate includes design, development and manufacture of products under the category of nutritional additives, zootechnical additives and premixtures for animal agriculture, Vetcare said.
