Review 2016: Climate change blamed for emergence of some livestock diseases

Climate change and increasing temperatures were cited as reasons for the emergence and re-emergence of a number of livestock diseases in 2016. Diseases such as anthrax, lumpy skin disease and foot-and-mouth disease continued their westwards and northwards progression into new areas.
