Biogenesis-Bago launches Maxityl for BRD (bovine respiratory disease):

Biogenesis-Bago has launched Maxityl, its own injectable version of Elanco's tilmicosin-based antibiotic Micotil for the treatment of bovine respiratory disease (BRD), in Argentina. The Argentine company says that in a trial of 20 cattle, where half were given Maxityl and the other half Micotil, the Maxityl formulation was shown to be the bioequivalent of Elanco's product. Maxityl is indicated for BRD associated with Pasteurella haemolytica, infectious bovine keratoconjunctivitis associated with Moraxella bovis, and pododermatitis. The product is available in a 20 ml and 100 ml bottle.
