PEOPLE - VIF appoints new managing director:
The Danish animal health industry association, VIF, has appointed Anne Birgitte Lundholt its new managing director, a position she will take up in mid-August. Her main responsibility will be to highlight the issues of animal welfare and pharmaceuticals and ensure that VIF is a "credible partner" for the government and other organizations. Ms Lundholt most recently worked for a consulting company in Brussels, and her roles include a member of the Danish parliament and a director of Danske Slagterier, the Danish Bacon and Meat Council. VIF members are responsible for about 80% veterinary pharmaceutical sales in Denmark.
