Animal Pharm Awards judging panel revealed with four weeks left until deadline
Animal Pharm subscribers have under four weeks left to nominate themselves for annual awards.
The deadline for the Animal Pharm Awards is December 20, 2017. Companies must nominate themselves for the awards and send their applications to Animal Pharm editor Joseph Harvey firstname.lastname@example.org).
The nominations will then be dissected by a team of independent judges. This year's judging panel includes:
Dr Karen Padgett is the founder of US-based animal health consultancy Unfenced. Dr Padgett spent 26 years with Hill's Pet Nutrition, serving as director of global business development, chief of veterinary business channel and national sales director for the Vet Channel. More recently, she was chief operating officer for Ceva Animal Health.
Dr Sam Al-Murrani has over 25 years of life science research and management within academia and industry. He is a director for several young animal health companies and has a wealth of knowledge concerning innovation and investment in animal health. Dr Al-Murrani is also the founder and chief executive of Babylon BioConsulting.
Dr Andy Peters, the managing director of animal health consultancy Arpexas. He is also the director of Supporting Evidence Base Interventions (SEBI) at the University of Edinburgh. His career in animal health has seen him work for Pfizer Animal Health, the Royal Veterinary College in London and Hoechst Animal Health.
Matthias Hofer is a partner at Stonehaven Consulting. He has over 13 years of experience in the animal health. Between 2009 and 2013, he led the global aqua health business at Novartis Animal Health. After that, he was global leader of emerging business at Elanco and a member of the firm's global executive committee.
Dr Tony Tan is the founder of Z-Link Biotech. He has over 30 years of experience in the field of animal health across a range of species. He held management roles in R&D, regulatory affairs, manufacturing, marketing, sales and business development. His career has seen him serve Intervet-Schering Plough and Zoetis.
Denni O Day is the founder, president and chief executive of US contract research organization VetPharm. She is also a member of the Animal Health Institute, the Society of Clinical Research Associates, the Drug Information Association, the American Public Health Association and the American Hospital Association.
Dr Sandeep Juneja is the managing partner of HyPro Foods in Mumbai. He also runs Animal Health India. He has previously worked in senior management for Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health India, Bayer HealthCare Animal Health in Mumbai and Fort Dodge Animal Health in Chennai. His career in animal health exceeds 18 years.
Dr Atsuo Hata has over 50 years of experience in the Japanese animal health sector. His specialist areas are market analysis, regulatory affairs and new business development. He has been a veterinary consultant to both large and small veterinary medicine firms around the world.
In the case of any draws in the judging panel's voting, the deciding vote will be placed by Dr Alan Bullion – principal analyst and special reports publisher for Informa Agra.
